How To:

1.Cut 4×4 posts to length and width appropriate for size of swing you like. You can MITRE ends for a more detailed look.

2.Mark location for lag bolts at Joints to connect corners. Mark these points precisely so that the look will be consistent around all sides.

3.Using a 1” spade bit, drill at marked points to a depth of approximately 1”.

4.Line up the two pieces of 4×4 and using a ¼”wood drill bit, drill through the centre of the hole, right into the adjoining piece. Have someone help hold the join steady as you do this.
