1 bag of frozen shell-on edamame Pinch of sea salt
Method:
You can cook edamame by simply steaming for 5-6 minutes in a basket over a pot of boiling salted water covered tightly with a lid. If you do not have a basket, you may plunge edamame into a pot of boiling salted water until the water returns to a boil.
Then, simply strain and place into a serving bowl, sprinkle with top quality sea salt and serve.
Edamame is best served warm but is often served cold.
High in protein, fibre and calcium, it makes a tasty and healthy snacking option.
